How porting to Blureon works
Porting numbers to Blureon follows the portability procedure applicable to electronic communications providers. The process starts with eligibility validation: the number must be active and free of outstanding debts to the donor operator. We prepare the porting request and the mandate, the client signs them, and we submit them and coordinate with the donor operator. A porting window is set, with a date and time interval, during which the number is technically transferred to the Blureon network. To keep the interruption as short as possible, we configure the routing on the Blureon side in advance and prepare the final call destinations. Technical switchover windows are communicated to the client before the porting date. At the moment of switchover, the number starts receiving calls through the Blureon trunk or call forwarding. We check inbound and outbound calls immediately after switchover and confirm the stability of the service. Porting can be carried out for individual numbers or for blocks, including from different operators, as a single coordinated project. Numbers subsequently remain portable under the same conditions.
For integrators
We port your clients’ numbers in bulk and coordinate the procedure end to end. You do not deal with the paperwork or with the donor operator.
Frequently asked questions
What does number porting mean?
Porting moves your phone number from your current operator to Blureon, keeping exactly the same number. It is a right set out in the regulations on number portability.
Do I lose calls during porting?
We prepare the routing on the Blureon side before the agreed date, so the switchover is as short as possible. There can be technical switchover windows, which we let you know about in advance so you can inform your team.
How long does a porting take?
The timeline depends on the type of numbers, the documents available and the porting timetable agreed between operators. We confirm it after reviewing your case.
What documents do I need?
Typically: your company details, a copy of a recent invoice from your current operator, and the signed porting request. We prepare the forms for you and tell you exactly what you are signing.
Can I port several numbers at once?
Yes. We port a single number or entire blocks of numbers, including from different operators, as a single coordinated project.
Do I need to pay off my old operator?
You must not have outstanding debts to the donor operator, otherwise the porting request can be rejected. We manage the rest of the procedure.
What happens to my old services?
After the porting is confirmed, the contract with your old operator for that number ends. We help you avoid overlapping billing.
Can I port back later if I want to?
Yes. Numbers remain portable under the applicable conditions and procedures. If you ever decide to leave, you can port your numbers onward.
