Technical details

How we deliver DID numbers

Blureon DID numbers are numbering resources allocated under the national numbering plan and delivered to the client through a SIP trunk or through network-level call forwarding. Each DID is mapped to a trunk and passed to the phone system in the destination header (Request-URI or To), which allows granular internal routing: to voice menus, call queues, hunt groups or extensions. For clients without their own phone system, we offer network-level managed call forwarding, with rules by time of day and day of the week. Numbers can be geographic, on a county prefix, or national, from the 037x range. Block allocation is supported for multiple departments, campaigns or locations. Number porting, both inbound and outbound, is carried out under the applicable portability conditions and procedures. For new numbers we confirm availability and the activation timeline after validating the client's details; numbers brought over through porting follow the timetable agreed between operators.

For integrators

We allocate numbers in blocks, on separate sub-accounts per client, invoiced to you. The numbers stay allocated to you, not to the end client.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a DID number?

DID (Direct Inward Dialing) is a public phone number delivered directly to your phone system over SIP, without a separate physical line for each number. You can have several numbers on the same trunk.

Can I have a number from a city where I have no office?

Yes. We offer geographic numbers from any county, regardless of where you are physically present. This lets you have a local contact point for customers in that area.

What is a 037x number?

It is a national number, independent of any city. It suits companies that want a single number valid nationwide, for example for support or sales.

Can I forward the number to a mobile?

Yes. Calls can be forwarded to your phone system, to a mobile number, to another location or to voicemail, with rules depending on time of day and day of week.

How long does activation take?

For new numbers, we confirm availability and the activation timeline after checking your details. If you want to bring an existing number over, see the porting page.

Can I get several numbers at once?

Yes, from a single number to entire blocks for different departments, campaigns or locations.

Do the numbers work with my phone system?

We deliver them on a SIP trunk and you can route them to voice menus, call queues or extensions. We check the compatibility of your phone system before activation.

Can I keep my numbers if I move to another operator?

Numbers can be ported under the applicable conditions and procedures. If you decide to switch operator, you can port your numbers onward.
