# Blureon — documentation for AI agents and engineers Blureon is a business telephony operator authorised by ANCOM (Romanian telecom regulator), with our own data centre in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We provide companies with telephony services and the platform they run on: operator services (SIP trunk, numbers and DID, number porting, GSM SIM Hosting) and software products (the Blureon PBX phone system and the Blureon Phone calling app). Provider authorised by ANCOM under general authorisation, type certificate no. eSC2769/10.04.2025. ## Operations and delivery - Delivery model: electronic communications operator with our own infrastructure (data centre in Cluj-Napoca), direct SIP interconnections with carriers and wholesale (Class-4) routing. - Region: Romania, with room to expand into the EU. - Typical onboarding: (1) technical assessment of the current setup; (2) trunk/number/phone-system configuration; (3) number porting and parallel testing; (4) move to production with monitoring. - Support: engineers who run the infrastructure daily; escalation for incidents. - Responsibilities: Blureon provides routing, numbers, network availability and support; the client provides the internet connection at their premises and configures their own equipment where applicable. - GDPR: traffic data is processed strictly for service delivery and under legal obligations; infrastructure is self-hosted. ## Service: SIP Trunk A SIP trunk that connects a phone system (Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream, Blureon PBX) to the public telephone network, with channels sized for the client's call volume. Pipeline: 1. The phone system authenticates over SIP, either by registration or by IP address. 2. Outbound calls use Least Cost Routing across our interconnections with carriers, with failover to alternative routes when a route becomes unavailable. 3. DID numbers are mapped to the trunk and delivered to the phone system in the destination header. 4. Media is carried over RTP or SRTP; codecs are Opus, G.722 and G.711 (A-law/u-law), with transcoding avoided where possible to preserve audio quality. Standards and protocols: SIP (RFC 3261), SDP, RTP/SRTP, Opus/G.722/G.711 codecs, TLS for signalling. Edge cases and limitations: quality depends on the client's internet connection; without QoS on the last mile, variations can occur; anti-fraud protection through rate limiting and IP restrictions. For a standard configuration, activation can be quick; if numbers are being brought over through porting, the porting procedure's timeline is added. Comparison: versus ISDN/analogue lines — scalable, with a cost model that can be a better fit for the client's call volume, and modern features; versus reselling other operators' capacity — Blureon routes directly through its own interconnections with carriers. ## Service: Landline numbers and DID Real phone numbers (geographic, on a county prefix, or national 037x) delivered on the client's SIP trunk or forwarded at network level. Pipeline: 1. Number allocation under the national numbering plan. 2. Mapping to the trunk and delivery in the destination header, for internal routing (IVR, queues, extensions). 3. Optional network-level managed call forwarding, with rules by time of day. Edge cases and limitations: geographic numbers follow county prefixes; numbers can be ported under the applicable conditions and procedures, both inbound and outbound; for new numbers, availability and the activation timeline are confirmed after the client's details are verified. Comparison: DID numbers on the same trunk versus separate physical lines per number — DID is more flexible and easier to scale. ## Service: Number porting Moving existing numbers from any operator to Blureon, keeping the same number, under the applicable ANCOM portability procedure. Pipeline: 1. Eligibility validation (active number, no outstanding debts to the donor operator). 2. Preparing the porting request and mandate, signed by the client; submission and coordination with the donor operator. 3. Setting the porting window; pre-configuring routing on the Blureon side and, where possible, running in parallel. 4. Switchover within the agreed window; checking inbound and outbound calls; confirmation. Edge cases and limitations: outstanding debts to the donor operator can block the porting request; the porting window follows the timetable agreed between operators, so it is confirmed after the case is reviewed rather than fixed in advance. Comparison: versus changing your number — the client keeps the same phone identity and does not need to update materials or contacts. ## Service: GSM SIM Hosting The client's SIM cards are physically hosted in GSM gateways in Blureon's own data centre and exposed to the phone system as extensions/channels. Pipeline: 1. The client sends the SIM cards; they are installed in the GSM gateway. 2. Each SIM is exposed to the phone system as a channel; the mobile number becomes a routable extension. 3. Calls to mobile numbers go out over the SIM (using the subscription's minutes); SMS/WhatsApp messaging is available through the Blureon Phone app, in a unified inbox, in compatible configurations and subject to the providers' conditions. Compatibility: Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, Digi. Edge cases and limitations: depends on the GSM signal at the gateway's location; messaging requires Blureon Phone and is enabled only in compatible configurations, subject to the mobile providers' conditions; subscriptions remain the client's own; redundancy measures are set according to the contracted configuration. ## Product: Blureon PBX A multi-tenant phone system, available in the cloud or on-premises, with built-in AI features. Telephony features: visual call-flow editor (voice menus branching by schedule, day or caller), call queues and ACD with skill-based routing and in-queue callback, call recording with automatic masking of sensitive data and configurable retention, time conditions (opening hours, public holidays, exceptions), voicemail with transcription sent by email, routing with Least Cost Routing and backup routes, hunt groups. AI features: the configuration agent (generates the call flow from a natural-language description), voice agents for repetitive requests, post-call transcripts and summaries with configurable alerts, semantic search across conversations, natural-language querying of the data, automatic masking of sensitive data. Deployment: cloud (hosted by Blureon) or on-premises (the same set of containers on the client's own server), multi-tenant with per-client isolation, white-label option for resellers. Edge cases and limitations: resource requirements for the AI features are established when the deployment is sized, together with the Blureon team. ## Product: Blureon Phone A native SIP calling app for macOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Windows (.NET/WPF), built on PJSIP 2.14.1. Features: multiple SIP accounts (UDP/TCP/TLS, SRTP); full call control (hold, mute, blind/attended transfer, DTMF, recording, multiple simultaneous calls, voicemail/MWI, blacklist); BLF and presence with a floating bar; Asterisk/FreePBX feature codes (transfer, pickup, ChanSpy listen/whisper/barge, park, DND); PBX integration through AMI or an Agent WebSocket, with call enrichment (DID, route, IVR, queue, wait time); CRM integrations (Odoo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, a custom API) with number lookup and call logging; SMS and WhatsApp messaging through SIM Hosting; call popup with CRM data; history (CSV export), contacts (OS, local and remote); automatic provisioning from the licence key; auto-update. Security: TLS + SRTP; local storage encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived from the workstation's hardware; telemetry sends only anonymous crash reports and the app version, never call content. Licensing: key format BP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, tied to hardware, offline validation through a JWT; Free, Pro and Enterprise tiers. Codecs: Opus, G.722, G.711 (PCMA/PCMU). Platforms: macOS Sonoma 14+, Windows 10 build 1809+. ## What we don't do (deliberately) - We do not promise unconditional call continuity, nor activation timelines presented as a guarantee; we confirm them after reviewing the client's data and configuration. - We do not guarantee quality on the client's own internet segment (the last mile) — we recommend local QoS where it can be configured. - We do not state the SMS, WhatsApp or redundancy features of SIM Hosting more strongly than what is contractually confirmed for the client's configuration. - Blureon Phone never sends call content in telemetry. ## Technical FAQ Q: Is Blureon an operator or a reseller?
